Bio
Mykhailo supports geophysical exploration programs at Aurora Geosciences with nearly 10 years of experience in applied geophysics and field operations.
He has worked across a range of exploration and drilling-related environments, contributing to data acquisition, monitoring, and technical field support on mineral exploration projects.
He has experience conducting a variety of geophysical and survey methods, including induced polarization (2D and 3D), HLEM, ELF, gravity, magnetics, and VLF magnetics. He also performs GPS and bathymetric surveys using Leica RTK GPS systems and ice drilling equipment. His work includes field data quality control and contributes to preliminary data processing and interpretation using geophysical and GIS software such as Geosoft, Petrel, Surfer, ArcGIS, QGIS, and Garmin BaseCamp.
Mykhailo holds an M.Sc. in Geophysics from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, is a Geoscientist-in-Training (G.I.T. NAPEG), and is based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.
