Bio

Gus is the General Manager of Geology at Aurora Geosciences and brings over 20 years of experience across the full mining lifecycle, from grassroots exploration through to production mining in both underground and open pit operations.

He has worked across a range of commodities and project stages, applying a multidisciplinary approach to resource development from early exploration through to mine closure.

He has led technical and operational teams and provided oversight on exploration and evaluation programs, including geological modelling, resource estimation, technical studies, and reporting. He also has extensive experience managing multi-drill programs and coordinating field operations across diverse geological settings.

Gus is a Registered Professional Geologist (NAPEG and APEGS) and a Project Management Professional (PMP). He holds a B.Sc. Hons. in Geology from the University of Saskatchewan. and is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
